Hello Peter,

What behavior would you like to have on double click?

It is possible to change action execution by adding hyperlink to element.
Double click will be changed into navigation: to other element, symbol in
diagram, diagram, any file or web page.

In order to add hyperlink go to element specification -> Documentation /
Hyperlinks tab, or click on short cut located in element bottom left corner
(when element is represented in diagram).

Kind regards,
Saulius

Change the "double click" action on diagram elements

Postby pmuessig » Fri Nov 09, 2007 5:29 am

Hello,

is it possible to change the action executed when a double click is
performed on a diagram element. E.g. double clicking on an action opens
the specification dialog. Is it possible to change this behavior?

Thanks,
Peter

Hello Saulius,

first of all many thanks for your very quick answer. But I suppose that
adding a hyperlink won't be an appropriate solution.

I have implemented a diagram action which starts a dialog for editing
the action script (i.e. a property ) of call behaviour actions with
stereotype "ActionScript". As of now the dialog can be activated from
the context menu of the behavior action and by a keyboard shortcut. But
I'd like to activate it by double click too (instead of the
specification dialog).

Regards,
Peter

Hi,

I know this is an old thread, but I'd like to have this feature, too. Is this still not possible, i.e. with MD Architect 17.0.3?

Best regards

Nevermind, I saw this: https://docs.nomagic.com/display/MD185/ ... k+behavior.

Also, your preview function either doesn't work or doesn't work without entering a security code. In any case, you don't give a warning on a failed preview and there is no previewed post.
