Creation of Custom Stereotype

Postby jeffery.s.wilson@nasa.gov » Tue Apr 11, 2023 1:29 pm

In the past, I have been able to create a stereotype in a profile diagram (i.e. Level 1 Requirement), create a generalization between that type and another class (in this case the requirement class) and then create a new element of the selected type. This allows me to customize the columns/data fields I can add to tables, diagrams, etc.

I have recently switched to the newer version of magic draw and for some reason now when I do this it no longer gives me the ability to create new elements as a "Level 1 Requirement". It has been a while since I have performed this action so it's possible I am doing something wrong, so I thought I'd ask here and see if someone can point me in the right direction.
