Hello,
Thank you for your interest.
First of all, I'd like to define what is SysML. SysML (Systems Modeling Language) is a general-purpose modeling language for systems engineering applications. It supports the specification, analysis, design, verification and validation of a broad range of
systems and systems-of-systems. SysML is defined as an extension of a subset of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) using UML's profile mechanism. You could learn more here:
http://www.omgsysml.org/what-is-sysml.htmIf we talk about differences between SysML and UML projects, they have a different set of elements, diagrams, and profiles. There are the additional capabilities for requirements management and solving parametric models with SysML (and related) plugins. I recommend you to look at Cameo Systems Modeler page (
https://www.nomagic.com/products/cameo- ... eler#intro) for SysML related information.
I'd like to note that SysML and UML models could be specified in one project in MagicDraw if there is a need.
If you need more information or help, just let us know.
Have a nice day,
Donatas Mazeika
