Generic Table rows selected by expression

Working with tables to pull out data from a model. Currently you can only select the row by type and location. I would also like to be able to use an expression to find a set of model elements to be the rows.

The current workaround for this is to create a smart package and then set the location of the table to be that smart package, but this is not as clean.

Hello,

please notice that from MagicDraw 18.4 there is a possibility to write an expression for the Generic Table's Scope.
You can invoke Query dialog from the Generic Table Scope field:
