Getting a structural feature value

Postby max.byers@ngc.com » Wed Sep 27, 2017 5:06 pm

Hi,

I am relatively new to Cameo and scripting within it. In the documentation there is a section under ALH APIs that talks about getting a structural feature value. it even gives an example call, "value = ALH.getValue(object, "speed");" but it doesn't say how to get object. I couldn't find much about structural features in general either.

It seems a script has access to any Parameters of the Opaque Behavior but I am not sure what else can be accessed.

Thanks

Hello,

"object" could be accessed by the predefined script variable "$context$" or "self".
for example, ALH.getValue($context$, "speed") or ALH.getValue(self, "speed")

Kind regards,
