Is there any way to create IDEF0, IDEF1X and the other IDEF version diagrams in MagicDraw?

Unfortunately no. Currently we have only information engineering notation (IE, aka crowfoot) support for entity-relationship diagrams -
coming with Cameo Data Modeler plugin.

IDEF1X notation is in the plans, but I can not promise any concrete timeframe - this feature is not scheduled into any revision yet.

Dear sir,

Thanks for the reply and the info. In fact, my question was focused in IDEF0 with IDEF1X as a second goal since it is targeted to E-R modeling in general. Moreover, IDEF3 would be the ideal solution for me, at least, with IDEF5 as a "dream" . BTW, could you recommend any IDEF3 and/or IDEF5 tool?

Hello Andre,

We are still considering IDEF0 and IDEF3 implementation in Cameo Business Modeler, plugin for MagicDraw that is dedicated for business process modeling. It is not clear yet if we will have this implementation, and it is not included to the nearest future plans.

As we are not working with IDEF at the moment, we cannot recommend a tool from our experience. I just can tell that ProSim and ProCap tools from KBSI provide IDEF3 support, but cannot tell anything about quality and usability of these tools.
