Interval and IntervalConstraint

Postby james.ciarcia@navy.mil » Sun Mar 04, 2018 5:23 pm

Using CSM 18.5 sp2 I was able to create an IntervalConstraint by refactoring a Constraint, but I was not able to create an Interval to use as the Specification of the IntervalConstraint. I was not able to figure out how to create a ValueSpecification and refactor it into an Interval, InstanceValue does not give me the option, almost all other options for Literal*, where * is Boolean, Integer, Real, String, ect... are available, even Expression and OpaqueExpression, but no Interval.

So does CSM 18.5 sp2 and earlier not support Intervals or IntervalConstraints? Or is there some way I can create some. I would like to specify for example a PrimitiveDataType, such as a specialization of a Real that will constrain the value from 0 to 1 for instance or 0 to 360. If there are no working IntervalConstraints, then can I use OCL on a normal constraint to enforce the restriction? Thanks!
