Java: Creation of enumerations and package-info.java

Postby tybalt » Fri Apr 29, 2011 3:09 am

Hey there,
I would like to create package-info files within my packages (for javadoc). Is there an easy way to do this? I also would like to add the documentation above the package declaration (package com.x.y;) To create package-info as a class object doesnt work as a syntax error is thrown (lower case class name not allowed). But if this would be possible there is still the missing support for package commentary.

Moreover: How do I add enumerations to my Java set? Currently im not able to add them in the Set edit dialog.

Regards,
Bernhard

Hello Bernhard,

Unfortunately, but package-info is not supported in java code engineering.
Java enumeration, at current time is mapped as UML class with stereotype <<JavaEnumeration>> and enumeration literal is mapped as UML class property with stereotype <<JavaEnumerationLiteral>>. In future we have plans to add support for additional mapping to UML enumeration.
