MagicDraw and Eclipse Integration folder structure

Postby douglas.courtney@navy.mil » Tue Nov 05, 2013 8:58 am

i am trying to undrstand how to configure the folder structure for multiple projects code with MagicDraw models. Is it better to have a top level folder for code project and a top level projects for models. Or should there be a folder in the project that holds the MagicDraw modules? I have multiple eclipse projects that make up a single executible. So I am trying to understand if there are pros and cons between these two options.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Hello,

We recommend first option and keep all modules mounted on the root.
Mounting modules inside package (second option) makes confusion when same module is used in different projects.
