Mouse click still ignored

Postby King Chung Yu » Mon Jun 04, 2001 2:10 am

I asked a question concerning mouse clicks being ignored on icon-buttons in
MagicDraw 4.5 demo (pro edition). Now FYI, I am using Mandrake 8.0, and I
have tried the following 3 different Java virtual machines:

1. Sun JDK 1.3.1
2. IBM JRE 1.3
3. Blackdown JRE 1.3

Of the three, only IBM's virtual machine accepts mouse clicks on
icon-buttons. Yet, it gives me another headache: I can't draw paths (e.g.
aggregation lines). After I selected a path tool, I clicked on the first
class I want connected, but no line appeared either before or after I
released the mouse button. After some playing around, I saw something
strange happen: mouse down on a class, then drag a little bit but cursor
still remained within the boundary of the class box, release mouse button,
then a line appeared (remember, the mouse button is up at this point)! But
on clicking the 2nd class, the line disappeared. Conclusion: I was UNABLE
to create any path!

I love what MagicDraw promises to do and I'd love to see it work! Help
