Old Java classes still lying around

Postby djfabozzi » Wed May 11, 2011 9:38 pm

Using MagicDraw Professional UML SP1 for Java.

When I do a quick reverse (round trip set), my old deleted *.java classes still show up in the containment.
Is there a way to sync up the containment to automatically remove the model classes from the *.java classes which have been deleted or renamed?

I've tried both "model refresh types": "merge model with code", and "change model according to code" during the quick reverse. The old classes still hang around.

MagicDraw doesn't make synchronization at package level. If you deleted classes in the model, they are not deleted automatically in the source on code generation. The same is when you are deleting classes in a java source - deletion is not shown in model after reverse. This is valid for all top classes (not nested classes inside other classes). Synchronization needs to be done manually.
