Snapshot repository based on a tag

Postby JLA » Tue Dec 20, 2016 4:57 pm

Is it possible to snapshot a repository based on a tag? Here is an example: As I develop, I want to tag commits with "Release 1.0" when appropriate. At some later time I would like to roll back versions of my projects so that all my projects are on the version with the "Release 1.0" tag. I will then export the projects and ship the collection of projects as the released collection.

I am used to using Git version control, but not with Cameo. In Git, you can just check out a branch by specifying a tag and Git checks out the tagged versions of each file. To snapshot, I just copy the files from my clone and paste them somewhere.

Teamwork server does not have repository level branches/tags, so it is not possible to do snapshot based on tag.
