Teamwork Cloud Merging

Postby robert.marino@ngc.com » Thu Mar 02, 2017 10:20 am

Hi -
Our team is running into some issues with Branching/Merging of larger projects, both on Teamwork Server 18.2 and Teamwork Cloud 18.4. We're getting what appears to be Memory errors, when we try to merge in the branches to the trunk. The application consumes over 30GB [exclusively] of memory while it's merging, which if other applications are running and using memory, it crashes. Not sure if there something we can do to on our end to optimize the merge, or if this is a known issue which needs to be fixed on the Application side.

Thanks,
Rob

Dear Robert Marino,

You could try enabling "Memory" optimization for merge. It can be done through menu "Options" > "Environment", select "General" > "Merge and Compare" in dialog's tree and set "Memory" for "Optimize for" field.
MagicDraw must be restarted for the setting to take effect.
