Import decimals

Postby jvernonjpmc » Mon Jul 03, 2017 10:06 am

I need to import to either an entity model or database model the following: interest_rate DECIMAL(38,9).

How do I do this? I've tried the following

Option 1: Excel / CSV has 3 columns: Owner = Position, Name = interest_rate, type = DECIMAL(38,9). This appeared to drop the type on import
Option 2: Excel / CSV has 3 columns: Owner = Position, Name = interest_rate, type = DECIMAL, modifier = (38,9). I couldn't find a property of property called modifier.

Thanks

Any update to this? To clarify

I need to import the following property to either an entity model or database model: interest_rate DECIMAL(38,9).
How do I do this? I've tried the following:

Option 1: Excel / CSV has 3 columns:
Owner Name Type
Position interest_rate DECIMAL(38,9)

The Type did not appear in the model on import

Option 2: Excel / CSV has 4 columns:
Owner Name Type Modifier
Position interest_rate DECIMAL (38,9)

The import dialog doesn't provide a meta-attribute to map Modifier to. Which should I use? Is this the same meta-attribute to use in the reporting scripting language?

Thank you

Hello jvernonjpmc,

In order to use Type Modifier, you may need additional stereotype "typeModifier".
