Postby piccolocanadesevolante@gmail.com » Sat Aug 19, 2017 2:50 pm

Where can I find Non-functional Requirement element in Cameo Systems Modeler? I can't seem to find it, does it exist?

Thanks.

Hello,

"Non-functional Requirement" is not a standard element in SysML and "Cameo Systems Modeler" does not have "Non-functional Requirement" out of the box.
The tool has a non-normative SysML extension with the following types of requirements:
    Extended Requirement
    Functional Requirement
    Interface Requirement
    Performance Requirement
    Physical Requirement
    Design Constraint
    Business Requirement
    Usability Requirement

You could use either Requirement either other predefined Requirements for modeling non-functional requirements. Also, you could tailor SysML language and create your own element type (e.g. Non-Functional Requirement) with custom properties. You could learn more here: https://docs.nomagic.com/display/MD185/Stereotype

If you need more help, just let me know.

Have a nice day,
