Show inherited attributes

Postby jvernonjpmc » Wed Sep 27, 2017 4:26 pm

I have two classes called Vehicle and Car. Car is a subtype of Vehicle. Vehicle has an attribute called VIN: String.

I want to create a diagram that shows the class Car, but not the class Vehicle, and to show that Car has an (inherited) attribute called VIN.

How do I do this? I'm running 17.0.4.

Hello,

Thank you for the issue report. Please, select the class Car and invoke its context menu. Choose to 'Edit Compartments' -> 'Element Properties' and go to the Element Properties tab. Unhide 'Inherited Member'.
If this solution doesn't suit for you, you can use "Redefine' command from the class specification window Attributes node (this functionality copies the attribute and sets different classifier for it).

Please inform about your progress.
