Automated Report Generation

Postby xuliwei20120436@gmail.com » Thu Feb 08, 2018 5:45 pm

To whom has the knowledge on automated report generation, I would really appreciate any help on this issue:

Is there a way to automatically run a report template, such as a Velocity template for document export, whenever there is a change made in the project? Or preferably whenever there is a change made in the teamwork server?

Thank you for your help!

Hello,

Yes, it is possible. You need to implement your new plugin for triggering the report generation of the Magic Report plugins, whenever there is saving or committing of a project.
Please see further details related to the open API and writing plugins at:

Thanks a lot for your reply! I'm also wondering can Teamwork Cloud run Velocity Code or plugins?

Hello,

Teamwork Cloud does not provide event listener for committing project.
So, it could not trigger the report generation when there is a change on the server project.
But, you could make a task schedule for checking changes on projects in a specific period by your self.
For example, the task scheduler would be triggered every 2 hours, this would check for the latest version of projects and compare with the logged version in the script.
If the logged version is out of date, it would trigger the bat script for generating report via command line.
By the way, what is your Teamwork Cloud version?

Best regards,

So I installed Teamwork Cloud 19.0 Beta. However, when I type the default address for the TWC Admin page, it doesn't show. I am wondering is there any step I am missing after installing TWC and Cassandra and run both through windows service panel?

Hello,

What do you suppose to see, when type the default address for Teamwork Admin?
Do you start the "authserver"?
Please send us the server.log file, it is at
Code: Select all
<user folder>/.twcloud/19.0 beta/server.log

I actually managed to access the admin login page. I think the error was due to the wrong machine ip during installation.

However, I am not able to load the license from Flexera. it shows the error:com.macrovision.flexlm.FlexlmException: Internal Flexlm Error (-506,1022)
I am positive Flexera is running properly

OK I see the problem inside Flexnet and it said:

This license cannot be checked out because:
Network connect to THIS_HOST failed.
The license file indicates THIS_HOST, and the server is not
running on this host. If it's running on a different host,
THIS_HOST should be changed to the correct host.

I'm wondering if there is any solution to this problem

Sorry for so many posts at once.
I just downgraded TWC to 18.5 due to Cameo is 18.5 as well as TWS.

However, I have encountered the same problem of not being able to login to localhost:8111

here's everything in the server.txt
