Is it possible to number related elements the same?

Postby beckyhoke@gmail.com » Mon May 14, 2018 8:58 am

Hello No Magic,

This question is related to another I posted: https://community.nomagic.com/numbering-in-ov-5b-and-ov-5a-t5757.html

I am looking to see if it possible to have the same numbering for two related elements? For example: Operational Activity(OA) & Operational Activity Actions (OAA). The OAA has the "behavior" of the OA. Every OAA has an OA. Is it possible to have both of these numbered the same? Right now when I number the OAs in an OV-5a. The OAAs in the OV-5b are different because they are being numbered separately. If I manually change the numbers to be the same, I receive an error that I am using the duplicating the unique identifier. I am looking for a way to have the same numbering on both the OV-5a/5b I also tried to reference behavior, but it unfortunately doesn't show the number in the diagram.

Just trying to figure out if this is possible? Thanks again for your help or advice!
