Exporting Generic Table

Postby amanda.brunelle@gd-ms.com » Mon May 14, 2018 9:59 am

Hello,

I am trying to export a generic table and several of my columns have data that extends past the column width, making the contents end in "..." with the remaining characters truncated. Even when I expand the column width, the contents are still truncated. I need to export this table and can't figure out how to do that and get the entire contents of the model elements. I have tried exporting to .xlsx, .cvs, .html, and also copy/paste into Excel. What is the trick to getting the table to show the entirety of what should be in the cells?

Thank you in advance, this is driving me nuts!!

Hello,

Which MagicDraw version are you using? This was fixed in 18.1 version.
There is an environment option which controls if textual content of the cell should be stripped or not.
Go to Main Menu -> Options -> Environment -> General -> Specifications -> 'Strip Multiline Text', switch off the option and then try to export. It should help.

With best regards,
