Preserving links when importing DOORS requirements

Hi,

We would like to import requirements from DOORS while keeping the links (tracing) to the customer supplied requirements intact. We naïvely tried to export ReqIF files for both customer supplied requirements and our revisions, but the tracing between the two was lost. Is there a way to preserve this information? If so, how?

Do you mean the link between requirements in DOORS Module?

We have DataHub plugin. This allow MagicDraw to connect with DOORS and you can im/export data by simply drag and drop. Moreover, you can synchronize when those data got updated too. You can find more information in the documentation.

Note: Driver Deployment will copy files into DOORS folder as well as update DOORS registry to recognize the new addin. So, the Administrator privileged is required.
