Custom Stereotype with SubElements

Postby jeffraymond@g11inc.org » Wed Jul 11, 2018 9:51 pm

I am currently using generalization to define a higher level block with value properties and part properties. I've tried searching to see if it's possible to create a specialization of the block stereotype and create a new stereotype with these same value and part properties?

The reason for the need is so that I dont have to redefine hundreads of properties throughout the model. Of course, would appreciate any additional guidance if the method above doesn't make sense.

Thank you
Jeff

Hello,

You can create your CustomBlock stereotype, extend it from Block using Generalization, you can then redefine any property you need, or define new and even set default values for them.
If that's what you want.

Could you attach a sample project if you need something different, as would help to understand better the issue.
