Containment Tree collapses

Postby rferguso » Wed Sep 12, 2018 6:56 am

Hi,

My company recently updated to version 18.5 SP3 and am experiencing odd containment tree behavior. Any copy, paste, delete action causes the containment tree view to collapse several levels and requires re-navigating back to the package I am working. Is this new behavior? Can I turn in off? Thanks!

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

This is known issue for us and it is already fixed in later MagicDraw 19.0 version. It occurs only with DataHub plugin for newly created projects. Could you tell us:

1. Is it DataHub plugin is installed in your MagicDraw?
2. Does the problem occurs after project was saved and reloaded?
3. If problem occurs without DataHub plugin and for old (resaved) projects, please send us a sample of project with detailed steps.

Please accept our apology for your inconvenience. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

1) Yes, we are using DataHub for this project.
2) Yes, the problem continues to happen after save/reload.

I would not consider this a newly created project. This project was started with a couple years ago with 18.0 and has migrated along to the current 18.5 install.

Hello,

As a workaround we suggest at first save the project and reload it, then start DataHub.
We hope, that our suggestions will help you.
Please keep us informed of your progress and accept our apologies for any inconvenience you are experiencing.
