Default diagram symbol properties

Postby jvernonjpmc » Wed Jun 13, 2018 3:16 pm

I want that when I bring a model element onto a diagram only certain properties are displayed and others are not.

For example, when I drag a class onto a class diagram, don't display attribute stereotypes nor attribute tagged values. And don't display the operation section of the class.

How is this done?

You need to change default symbol properties of a class. Follow the steps:
1. Open the Project Options dialog (Options > Project)
2. Select a class element which is under Symbol styles>Default (Default)>Shapes
3. Right-click on a Class element and select Extend by Diagram and then Class diagram
4. Select Class Diagram which is placed under the Class element
5. Set the value of "Suppress Attributes" and "Suppress Operations" properties to true
6. Click the button "OK"
