Export to Excel

Postby Ketrey » Thu Jan 24, 2019 1:02 am

i would like to export my structure to Excel. I`ve tried to do this via a generic table but unfortunately, i only get a huge list and not that "tree structure"

The pictures below are showing this export

Is there any trick to get it like this structure tree? Maybe like if there is a "+" use next column....

I think you already have the structure in exel but of course there might be some other methods. When I need to export such a list, I have encountered the same function needs but in the end the list as you exported, works fine for me. In my case, after having such an export, I use "text to column" function of exel if I need to divide the single column list into many columns. Cameo uses "." to prompt the hierarchy like other programming languages, so I use this dot to divide in to columns.

I hope that helps. If there is any other methods, I am eager to hear.
