Acessing Requirements Table contents

Postby boris_h » Tue Feb 12, 2019 4:31 am

Hello,

is there a way to access the contents of a requirements table from a template? I tried to use the GenericTableTool but if I use $tableTool.getTable($requirementsTable) "null" is returned from the TableTool. I need to generate a table with a document with the same order of requirements objects as defined in a table.

The issue has been resolved (my fault).
I use the query tool to get the desired table by qualified name. However there are multiple diagrams with the same name in the targeted package and I use .first() of the query which returned no table at all.

Try this sample template:
printrequirementtable.docx

However there are multiple diagrams with the same name in the targeted package and I use .first() of the query which returned no table at all.

You could get only Requirement Table diagram by:
Code: Select all
#foreach($diagram in $report.filterDiagram($Diagram, ["Requirement Table"]))
$diagram.image
$diagram.name
#end
