Diagram Perspective Box is greyed out

Someone gave me a UPDM model to open in my tool and when I do so the internal Perspective window showing me the list (DoDAF, MoDAF,Systems Modeler, etc) is greyed out and I cannot remember what needs to happen to get this to open correctly. Thanks
