How do I get connectors to show after moving a part.

Postby joseph.merkling@l3harris.com » Wed Oct 16, 2019 12:54 pm

I am using MagicDraw to help re architect the physical layout of a system.

I have a number of connected components and I am changing which racks the should go in based on the density of connections between the components.

The issue is that when I move a component from one rack to another on an IBD it disappears on any other IBD it is shown in and when I bring it back using the Display Parts/Ports Context menu the connectors wont show up.
I can find them in the containment tree and move (cut and paste) them to the correct owning block. and I can check tht the connectors are correct using Go to-> Usage in Diagrams but they wont display when clicking the display paths button or when selecting using the display paths option on the context menu.

Related ly I have a lot (76) of InvConector errors (owner is wrong or ends changed) with no way to correct except deleting and remaking the connection.

I am using 18.5 sp3 with the SysML plugin.

Did you ever solve the problem? I'm having the same problem and using V19.0 SP3.

I am having the same issue with Cameo 19.0 SP4. Here is a post I made recently with an example:
