Upgrade to 19.0 SP3 wont save project

Postby william.jehle@gtri.gatech.edu » Wed Dec 01, 2021 3:23 pm

I have been running MagicDraw 18.4 for quite a while and recently upgraded to 19.0 sp 3. Everything seemed to install fine, but when I create a new project or attempt to save the project, I get errors saying that I do not have write permissions. The core dump / stack trace is attached.

What's very strange is that even trying to save the file gave me an error.

Solution is: uninstall previous version of MagicDraw and install the new one.

Note to self: Do not click the link in the green box to let MagicDraw update itself. Do it the old way.

I'll probably wait with the update for now. And then it turns out that neither the new nor the old program will work :D
