How to use association block value in parametric analysis?

Postby trisha.radocaj@jhuapl.edu » Tue Mar 01, 2022 2:33 pm

Hello! I'm trying to do a value-add-up going through a system via a given path. Each block should add something to the value and each connector should also add to it. I have typed the connector with an association block, but I cannot get the simulation to include the constraint from the association block in the final calculation.

Simple example below. If I replace the connector reference property with a simple connector between the two ports, then the simulation runs. If I type that simple connector with the association block, then the simulation runs, but ignores the added value from the association block constraint (also shown below). I think I must be missing something simple to make the association block actually effective.

Would something like this support what your looking for?
A to B is an association block. I gave it a directed composition from the system block,
