Image Uploading for Report Wizard

Postby JBC_Navy_88 » Fri Jun 16, 2017 3:09 pm

Is there a method to upload images into a Magic Draw model (like the Excel/CVS import feature) to store them for later use and for adding as input for reports?

Hello,

We have provided AttachedFile element for keeping images in your MagicDraw project.
Unfortunately we have not supported it yet.
But, we have a plan to support importing image from AttachedFile element to a report in sooner.

For this time, you may add the image to Comment element, in the body property which is selected as HTML format.
In HTML format, you could add the image to body or documentation property.
So, in the report code, you may get it by $comment.body or $comment.documentation.

Best regards,

Is there a way to use the ‘Image helper’ to then manipulate the image of it is stored in an elements documentation?
