Issues with Running Excel/CSV Import

Postby emily.g.payne@jpl.nasa.gov » Wed Aug 10, 2022 12:41 pm

Having issues running the Excel/CSV import- I am able to do a regular import, but how do you "Create a mapping" and import relationships data? For example, a <<DerivedReq>> relationship?

One of the most common CSV import errors is that the file is simply too large. That can be caused by too many fields or records in the file, too many columns, or too many rows. The import error can be caused by limits set by the program using the file or the amount of available memory on the system. This is correct way to import CSV file : On the File menu, click Import. In the Import dialog box, click the option for the type of file that you want to import, and then click Import. In the Choose a File dialog box, locate and click the CSV, HTML, or text file that you want to use as an external data range, and then click Get Data.
