How to clean profiles from their history?

It looks like profiles defined in MagicDraw keep somehow track of their previous version.
When those profiles are exported to Eclipse .uml files, some tag definitions are duplicated and some tags appear that are not parts of the stereotype definition anymore. Those unexpected tags were defined in previous versions of the profile and have been modified or deleted in its current version.

How can we "clean" a profile up from its history so that those historical tags are removed ?
