Ports don't appear in instance

I have created a block that includes some ports. The ports on this block connect with other blocks and the Conveyed field includes all Flow Specification elements that are transmitted via the ports.

I would like to use this block to create two separate instances on a diagram that represents the live system. However, I cannot get the ports to display. From the instance Specification window, I see the ports of this block as a Slot, but the only option is to click the Create Value button. I can't assign a value to a port - I just want it to appear on the diagram for the instance.

I am using MagicDraw 2022x. Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

Nevermind - I figured it out. It works in an IBD (not in a BDD).
