Export Cameo Collaborator Comments to a Model

Postby meek_curran@bah.com » Mon Aug 02, 2021 12:33 pm

Hello All,

Reaching out to the community to see if anyone has familiarity with a solution we are trying to develop. Our team is trying to determine if it is possible to take Cameo Collaborator comments and export them to say a generic table in a model. We know you can view the comments within the model, so hoping there is a way to ingest the comment data into an element/table while in the model. Anyone have any experience or ideas if this is even possible?

(Looking to avoid the HTTP or web export functionality if possible)

Thanks for your time!

Add a generic table to your project, then drag an comment element from the containment tree to the "Element Type" field of the new table. Under scope choose the portion of the model whose comments you would like to collect.

I do this a lot with the "Problems" subtype of comment so that I can track where issues are in my model and not lose sight of going back and fixing them.

Best of luck.
