Lock To Prevent Edit

Hi all, working with a MagicDraw project that is using the tool to manage our requirements. One potential issue we are running into is there does not appear to be a way to lock an item to prevent edits. I am able to lock for an item for edit, but then each time I commit other changes the lock is released (I am aware I can change this setting on my end). I am looking to prevent users from editting an item unless they are in a certain group of "project admins". Is there a way that I can permanately lock an item to prevent edits like this?
