Add Icon to All Diagram Palettes

We have created a stereotype for tracking modeling task (metaclass is Comment) that would like to appear on every diagram palette alongside Comment, Rational, Problem, etc. I can add a placeonPaletteProperty under the customization but not only does it only allow me to select one diagram type at a time but I also only what I am assuming are the custom diagrams (UPDM, MDK, etc.). I don't see the option to add it BDD's, IBD's, etc.

Is there any way to easily add an icon to the common group on all diagram palettes? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, you can specify only one diagram type using placeonPaletteProperty under the customization.

Another way is to write a script which will add this additional element into a palette for all diagrams.

An alternative I've used is to create a customization for your special comment stereotype and add "Comment" into the "Quick Applying For" property. That way the user can create a basic comment object, right click on it, and select "modeling task" from the context menu to apply the stereotype. This works on any diagram.

You normally need to modify the UML metamodel in order to add a stereotype to the common group on all diagram palettes in modeling tools.
