Test Cases and executable models

Postby user » Mon Dec 10, 2007 4:31 am

Hello,

for the test-driven development of complex systems it s possible to
create executable modells. The test cases will help to check the given
requirements.

(Only the BDD-diagrams will transfered into JAVA code)

I am using MD Professional Java and SysML.

Is there any description to help building that kind of model?

Frank,

We are able to generate code from Class models. Unfortunately, no code for
Usecase models.
Our model is stored in standard-based UML 2 XMI files (Eclipse EMF also),
and you can use any third-part tool in the market and use this model as
input data.
For example, we have integrations with many MDA tools, these tools have
multiple different "cartridges" for domain specific model-to-model or
model-to-code transformations.

I hope it helps.

Regards,
