Practical Ways of sorting Diagrams

Postby mzampare@eso.org » Wed Mar 10, 2021 8:47 am

Hi,
I wanted to know if anybody knows of a decent way to enforce a specific order in diagrams.
My users have specified a static list of chapters, which correspond to Packages in a UML model. The order in this list is enforced by the template.
Within each chapter though, the users are free to add as many diagrams as they like, with names which cannot be known beforehand.
They would like to have the possibility to set an order in which the diagrams will appear in the final document.
I know that this is probably not the most common use-case for a *template* approach but I was wondering if anybody has got any suggestion other than using stereotypes for Diagrams with a tag for their position in the chapter.
Thanks.
M.
