Propogation of access to resources

Hello,
On Teamwork Cloud we manage our users and permissions through the use of categories.
For a given group we assign for example, the Resource Contributor role to an entire category.
We have found however that when a user adds a new resource to the category, the group does not automatically obtain access to the new resource, so we have to re-add the category in the WebApp in the group permissions again.
However for Cameo Collaborator, it appears when a resource is published, other members of the group are able to access it right away.

Are we missing something or is this not a feature in Teamwork Cloud yet where access to a category is not propogated to all resources dynamically.
