<<term>> documentation (description) export

I need to export a list of terms to a CSV but in a specific format. Thus, I am leveraging VTL but cannot seem to execute

getDocumentation()
getOwned_Comment()

ideally looking to retrieve the 'description' and 'synonym' fields from the <<Term>>.

with some trial and error I was able to retrieve the documentation
$Term.get(0).ownedComment.get(0).body
Still have no luck getting the synonyms
