Use case is not covered with concrete requirement

Postby Guy Redux » Mon Feb 12, 2018 1:41 pm

Creating my first SysML use case diagram, the moment I placed my first use case it tripped a validation warning "Use case is not covered with concrete requirement"

1. What constitutes a "concrete requirement"?
2. What kind of relationship does the offending use case need to clear the warning?

MD 18.5 SP2, Cameo Requirements Modeler 18.5 SP2 Plugin, SysML 18.5 SP2 Plugin

Thanks

Hello,

Unfortunately, we are unable to reproduce the problem with the information you provided. Please give us more details. The additional information we need includes:

• Include screen shots of the unexpected behavior.
• If possible, send us the project. That would be the fastest way to identify the problem.

Waiting for your response,

Attached project was generated by 'New Project' type 'Requirements Project'. Then all I did was create a package that contains a SysML use case diagram, added the Actor and the Use Case as shown. Notice the yellow border indicating a validation issue, and the contents of the validation error

Hello,
Thanks for sample.
This warning means that use case is not refined by requirement.

You can avoid this warning using the Dependency Matrix for specifying Refine dependencies between use cases and requirements. More information https://docs.nomagic.com/display/MD185/ ... ncy+Matrix

Specified Refine relation have to be SysML.
