Using Report Generator from Command Line with TeamWork

Postby James M Grimes » Wed Jan 21, 2009 6:28 pm

I'd like to be able to specify a project that is on a TeamWork server as
input to the report generator in command line mode, but I don't know the
syntax, if any, for doing so. Is it necessary to have the main
MagicDraw app open in order to do this?

If it makes a difference, I'm running under Mac OS.

Thanks,
James Grimes

Dear James Grimes,

You can generate project storing on Teamwork Server from command line by
specify three options without open main MagicDraw application.

-server serverName|IP
-login loginName
-password password

These options are available on MagicDraw 15.5 and later.

More resource for report wizard is "MagicDraw ReportWizard
UserGuide.pdf" . This file can be
found under MagicDraw manual folder.

Thank you Sirinya.
Now that you provide this information, I see that it really is in the
user guide. I had missed it the first time through.
