When anchoring a Note to a diagram and then selecting “Text display mode” > “Show Documentation” the Note displays the Diagram’s Owner’s Documentation.

When anchoring a Comment to the same diagram and then selecting “Retrieve Documentation” the Comment displays the Diagram’s Documentation.

Is this the expected behavior for Note and Comment?

If so, what is the rationale for the difference?

Thks.

The problem in this instance is that you attempt to obtain several element kinds. Please delete the second nyt sudoku line in the meta chain you made and modify the element Type at the top to "Comment" in order to display both comment types in one column.

Comments are a good way to add extra information to a diagram. Sometimes the value of a comment is temporary, for example, a comment that suggests a potential change to the diagram, but in other cases, comments may be a permanent part of the diagram suika game

There should be no choice, in my opinion. Viewers can be readily impacted otherwise. Diagrams benefit greatly from comments that provide contextual information.snake io
