What are navigation rules element in collaborator viewpoint?

I am new to cameo collaborator and when opening the sysml template there is an element that I am unfamiliar with. In the collaborator viewpoint diagram what is the purpose of the navigation rules element beneath conform on the toolbar? I see that it is used in the sysml template with the use relationship from the specified view. There is no documentation on what this element is or how to properly use it.
