Workspace not Saved Corectly in Forte4J

Postby Richard C. L. Li » Sat Aug 03, 2002 9:04 am

I installed MagicDraw on Forte4J 4.0 but found that the workspace is not
saved after I modified the windows arrangement in the MagicDRAW's
workspace. What is the problem?

Hi,

Please download ServicePack for MagicDraw5.5 from
ftp://ftp.magicdraw.com/pub/MagicDraw/service_pack/ (or Web site) and
follow instructions in readme.txt.

After ServicePack applying, repeat MagicDraw and Forte integration process.

If you still have problems , feel free to contact us.

Regards,

I downloaded the SP1 and patch it, however it still cannot save
properly. I do this and can never be resumed:

1. I created a new split window
2. I move all windows in the explorer in the "CENTER" part of the split
window.
3. Then I move the "Zoom" and "Documentation" window to the "BOTTOM"
part of the split window.
4. Exit and reenter
5. The "Zoom" and "Documentation" window not in the new split window.

I trace the problem and found that the configuration is correctly saved
in the project folder. However during startup, something happens to
change the setting back to something "Default" I think.

Please check it out.

Hi,

Part of this problem is fixed in MagicDraw 5.5i, but even with this version
windows are sometimes moved to the default position.
We will add fix into the next MagicDraw version.

Sorry for inconvenience.
